Irked by Ike

Well, in accordance with my plans for last weekend, I got up early Saturday morning and started lugging a heavy basket of laundry down the slope at 7:15 AM. While it rained a bit while the clothes were in the dryer and the wind was up a bit, the weather wasn't much (up here) and I got my stuff back in my apartment before 10:30; then I spend the rest of the day watching news 'cause there wasn't much else on.
