Weather Un-delay

For this last weekend, the forecast was for scattered rain both days. This really sucked, since it was a laundry weekend and I needed some dry weather to go outside in, particularly when I had to go between my apartment and the laundry hut. Lugging clothes up and down a slope with one bad arm is tough enough; I don't need it to be slick also.

So, to counter this, I set my alarm for 7 AM each morning to maximize my time window. I usually sleep in on Saturday and Sunday to be more rested, but knew I had to make the sacrifice if I wanted to get my errands and chores done.

The result? No rain until Sunday evening, and then only sprinkles. So I spent a lot of Saturday bored, and on Sunday I went to see "Iron Man". Plus I was dead tired Sunday evening, so prep for the start of the workweek had to be kept minimal.
