Hal's Laptop

I had a bit of an "open the pod bay doors" moment this morning. My laptop at work acted a bit funny (possibly due to a patch push) so I wanted to reboot it. When I selected "Restart", it had the audacity to tell me I didn't have the authority to do that; selecting "Shut Down" didn't do it either. I was about to do an emergency manual shutdown (eject laptop from docking station and remove battery) when the blue screen of death occurred, and it rebooted. Gotta love technology.
