For those that need further proof...

...that the universe is not fond of me, I present last Sunday, when a light went out in my apartment. Now normally this wouldn't be a bit deal, as I keep spares of the various lightbulbs I use. However, this one was different. This was the overhead florescent light in the kitchen, which uses a pair of 4-foot long bulbs. Now normally I could just go out and get a new set, but since it was also Easter you don't know what stores would be open (particularly for that item), and I wasn't going to burn a bunch of gas trying to find a place.
