My Turkey (of a) Weekend

I didn't do much this past weekend; weather and other stuff made a bit of a mess of it. Here is a day-by-day breakdown of how it went:

Thursday: Spent the day at home, watching the football games. Marvelled at the fact that yesterday morning it reached the 70s, and today it was snowing(!). Had turkey & mashed potatoes microwave meal and some black olives for T-Day meal.

Friday: The only decent day of the weekend, weather-wise. For the morning and part of the afternoon, I did some grocery shopping; I had thought of hitting a few of the stores to see their Black Friday specials, but had to cancel that. Instead, I spend the rest of the afternoon doing laundry, since the forecast for Saturday and Sunday was low 40s and some rain.

Saturday: Ventured out once to take care of some work-related items, but otherwise spent some time doing things around the place.

Sunday: Watched some football and hockey, then finished up the section of the book I am currently on. Finished it out watching my usual Sunday TV lineup.
