Time Travelling

I have a very weird thought process, and some of the ideas that come up in it are "unique". Here is a recent one that I think is another cake-taker.

Problem: I had an early morning workshop at work early Tuesday morning. Not only does it start a bit earlier that when I usually get there, I have to get there even earlier to grab my laptop and a CAT5 cable and get set up in a conference room and do my morning checks before it starts.

Solution: Use that unholy creation known as Daylight Savings Time to my benefit by extending it a few days. (I don't like DST, and now they are planning to extend it next year. If it's so freakin' great, why don't we just set our clocks ahead and leave them there? But I digress.) By keeping my internal clock on the old time, I was able to show up to work an hour earlier than usual and pick up that extra hour during the week, when I could use it more.
