Watching the Game

About a couple of weeks ago, I took a day off to watch a ballgame. Being a Minnesota Twins fan, you don't get many of their games down here, so when there is a game, I try to watch it. This particular game was a Wednesday afternoon game, so I wouldn't have to worry about staying up too late, or rushing to catch the game after work. However, the game was also available on TV.

So basically the decision was to shell out a bunch of money for expensive tickets, hot dogs, and parking, or watch it on TV in the air-conditioned comfort of home. If Thus, I chose the latter, enjoying it with my own hot dogs and sodas. If I had people to go with I probably would have done that, but I have discovered that by oneself it is a hassle.

After all, you can choose where you sit, but you can't choose who sits around you.

(FYI - Final Score: Minnesota 5, Texas 3)

The day off with nothing to do but watch the game and chow on stadium food...
And staying in means you get all the fun.. and none of the hassle.

Sounds like the perfect day!
